It has been a while since I last posted. Let's see...what has been going on...Well, I have been teaching. Lots. I love teaching! I have also been unseasonably busy at work. It feels like what January normally feels like, so I don't know what to expect the rest of this month. I had shared with a few of you that we were preparing for another round of IVF the end of this month. I have since taken my name off the calendar. Even though the doctor donated his professional fees, we still had to come up with $10k in lab fees. Uff da. We don't have quite that much saved up. We were at a crossroads of what to do next and just decided to take a break.
What has been incredible through this whole experience is that I feel like God is still whispering to me. When I hear the incredible stories of Elizabeth and Mary in the Bible I am awe struck. I know my faith in the Lord continually evolves, but recently I find that I have more faith than ever before. This break from IVF will allow me to continue on my weight loss journey, save money, and just put all of our faith in whatever the Lord has planned for us.
What else to update you all on? Let's see...my sister has been here for almost two weeks! Such fun!!! We have gone shopping, gone through my closet, gone to a comedy club, played games, and just relaxed. My friend S asked me to a reader and bridesmaid in her wedding in April! We are so excited for S to marry K! We also had a nice little milk and cookies party with our friends over recently. It was quite delightful. That's all for now...maybe more in the near future!
